These pictures are from the end of September. One day I was feeding Cubby in his high chair and the light that was coming through the window was so pretty I couldn't resist. He was being a ham (of course) and was really acting for the camera. He has food all over his face (even in his eyelashes) and just grinned and grinned. I love these pictures because he had just gotten his new teeth and you can see them really clearly. He also still has a bunch of baby fat. He has had so many pictures taken of him that he knows to stop, smile and then heads over to look at the camera to see the pictures...

For each of my kids I take pictures of them around their birthday. I have a big book that I keep for them that has their "birthday" picture in it. Not necessarily the party, but one or two pictures that I feel capture their personality at that time. This is very, very Jacob. I see lots of his brothers and mamma in him. He has a very sparkling personality and is curious and happy.
